Place an ad in the free section of Craig's List or on The Freecycle Network to give to someone locally. Click on the Freecycle Network's "Browse Groups" link on their website, and then click on your state and city to be taken to a local group's homepage. Sign up for a free membership, and then place an ad for the items you wish to donate.
